I had an oil change/tire rotation at a dealership and was told that I needed rear brakes very soon as they were almost gone, they encouraged me to have them replaced while I was there. I declined and called around for estimates and Hamby's had one of the lowest rates. Not minutes after I had checked in, the gentleman double checked with me about the "rear" brakes. I told him that was what the dealership said I needed. He informed me I still had "a good 20,000 to 30,000 miles left on them". Turns out it was the front brakes that were bad (exactly what my husband said the night before). That could have been a very costly mistake if I had followed the dealerships advice.
